Synopsis

A writer goes for a walk to find inspiration for the ending of his script. After losing hope in himself, he is pushed into a depressive psychosis by his internal demons.

Directors Statement

Violent Space is about getting over creative hurdles. There is a lot of pressure in the art world to make your masterpiece from the start, but that is not reality. The torment of these pressures is what leads people to failure. Hopefully, by vicariously watching a character at the brink of inspiration get pummeled with anxiety then figure out how to get past his negative thoughts, another struggling artist might release their own anxieties and maybe even push themselves to produce their own starting works of art.
